Y2K Compliant (Year 2000) means the receiver operates normally over Dec. 31, 1999 to Jan. 1, 2000 (e.g. all dates are reported properly and all data is correct). NovAtel recommends updating to the version shown. Please contact NovAtel Customer Support if you have questions regarding firmware versions. If you have a model not shown on this table or a special firmware version, please contact NovAtel Customer Support.

Item of noncompliance: 1. The week 1023 rollover does not go to 0, but to 1024. This only happens if the card is left on and running through the week rollover time (00:00 Sunday morning Aug. 22, 1999 GMT, which will be noon Saturday Aug. 21, 1999 to noon Sunday Aug. 22, 1999 depending on local time zones / daylight savings). If the card is not powered during this rollover, the week will report properly when powered after the rollover. If the card is running through this period, the card will need to have power cycled in order to restore it to normal operation. Due to the number of difficulties to be encountered with firmware versions 2.21 and older, an upgrade to firmware 2.30 is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The upgrade for receiver models 7xx and 9xx, will be to the highest performance 951RT model, and can be done remotely by the user. Receiver models 20xx and 21xx will be upgraded to the highest performance 2151RT model, but must be returned to the factory for upgrading. Please contact NovAtel for upgrades and have the receiver serial numbers ready. Vehicle Tracking GPS • GPS Antenna • Marine GPS![]() ![]() ![]() |
