(March 27, 2002) - BEELINE Technologies, Inc., NovAtel Inc. and OmniSTAR are planning to launch a series of high precision navigation products targeted to the agricultural steering assist market. The Companies have combined their technological expertise including BEELINE's industry leading "hands-free" steering solutions, NovAtel's high precision GPS receivers and OmniSTAR's new High Performance Differential GPS (HPDGPS) wide area service, to deliver the most accurate and reliable agricultural guidance products available. A prototype system was unveiled in Australia on March 27, 2002. Release dates will be announced later in the year.

The planned products will give farmers the benefits of decimeter level HPDGPS and state-of-the-art dual frequency receivers coupled with inertial navigation and sophisticated guidance software. The result is intended to be an agricultural guidance system that is accurate to the decimeter level without the inconvenience or high costs associated with base stations. Also, OmniSTAR's wide area High Performance service operates twenty-four hours per day, and reduces the problem of insufficient satellites that is occasionally experienced by real-time kinematic users.

According to Rob Mailler, Founder, BEELINE Technologies, "This product simplifies machine guidance technology and makes the benefits accessible to operators, freeing them from the tedium of steering the vehicle and allowing them to focus on what they are really trying to achieve in the field. Accurate steering control will decrease overlap errors, therefore increasing productivity and reducing input costs."

"The Australian farmers have benefited from the OmniSTAR signal and service quality for a number of years, and we believe these new products will allow us to support these farmers as they become the technological leaders of the agricultural community worldwide. NovAtel is a world-class manufacturer of GPS receivers and they have a state-of- the-art platform to carry our new decimeter service, OmniSTAR HP. BEELINE is unquestionably the worldwide leader in guidance systems. The partnering of these experts will put our customers on the leading edge of technology," said Gavin Abbott, President of OmniSTAR, Pty Ltd. headquartered in Perth, Australia.

"Teaming with BEELINE and OmniSTAR, both acknowledged technology leaders, supports NovAtel's commitment to partner with the best in order to provide customers world-wide with the most accurate positioning no matter how challenging the application," said Jon Ladd, President and CEO of NovAtel Inc., Calgary, Canada.
